Gearbox has released another trailer called Welcome to Wonderlands #2. This is the second gameplay trailer that reveals more new classes available in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. At this point, we know a lot more about the game and this adds two more classes and I would assume will finish out the classes available in the game.
UPDATE: Gameplay video and new trailers released. Check them out here and here.
Breakdown of what we see in the Welcome to Wonderlands #2 Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gameplay trailer.
SpellShot class
The Wonderlands Spellshot class looks to be a dual casting magic-user. But from the description, it sounds like they may get some buffs on weapons also. Labeled as Ambi-Hextrous the dual casting will be a welcome addition to the Wonderlands universe.
The Spellshot will also be able to use POLYMORPH to transform enemies into other creatures. The video shows them turning into something called a skeep. Not sure if there will be other things the enemies can be turned into or if it is a one-time deal.
Clawbringer class
Clawbringer class in Wonderlands brings a little bit of Thor to the Wonderland universe. The video details the heavy use of a hammer and the ability to throw the hammer (STORM DRAGON’S JUDGEMENT) and recall it to destroy enemies much like Thor would do in the Avengers. It seems he has a small pet dragon also. Hopefully the dragon will come with some awesome attacks that can be used with the hammer.
Clawbringer class can use the CLEANSING FLAMES to charge up a hammer attack and destroy enemies. Looks powerful but slow. Might be a good trade-off if it does enough damage.
Other notes on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands #2 Gameplay Trailer
You see the variation of the characters that these classes represent. In other videos, it hints at maybe an enhanced character creator.
The enemy types look like a lot of skeletons and freaky mushroom-looking enemies. There are some shark-headed enemies and something that looks like a mini goblin.
The game is still slated to be released on March 25th, 2022.
