Role-Playing Games Week Recap 11/16/2021
Halo multiplayer was released early, beating a dragon with a fishing pole, and a surprise release.
Halo Infinite multiplayer released early
In a maybe not so surprising move on the 20th anniversary of Halo, Microsoft surprised most with releasing Halo Infinite multiplayer early on November 16th. It seems that the multiplayer component will be free and will follow a seasons model.
Person beats Skyrim using only fishing poles
Give a man a fish he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will kill some dragons in Skyrim. A user has claimed he beat Skyrim’s main story using only fishing poles. This doesn’t shock me at all. I have seen some crazy videos of people beating the game with unique weapons but this one takes the cake.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story releases early
Ruined King has been released earlier than expected on most major platforms. It was always slated to release by the end of the year but Riot Games pulled the switch and released it on November 16. Maybe this was a way to try and steal some thunder from Halo. Or they had no idea that Halo was coming out and the game will get buried for a while.
I have seen some gameplay and I have to say this game looks awesome. It may be on my Christmas wish list.
